I needed a baby gift that was a little different for a new baby , this was perfect . Turned out to be the only hat the baby would wear . Overall a great buyThis hat is just what I wanted for my son, he's one month shy of 3 years old, and he does have a big head, but this hat just fits him perfectly.. was hoping there'd be room to grow for at least a couple years to come since the sizing was ' M/L (ages 3-8) ' buuut not so much.. I'd like to attribute it to my son's larger-than-average cranium, but it's definitely not the size of an 8-year-old. So I'd say sizing that's worded here is a bit off, I know kids come in all shapes & sizes but I'd list the ' M/L ' as more like ages 3or4 - 5. Other than that, the hat is great.. it covers his ears completely, & it's thick enough that it's warm enough for our New England winters, but not bulky or too overheating. My son wears it around the house too, he loves it.Super cute! Love the color and comfort for my 4yr old!Due to the materials it is made of, they make it very comfortable, not tight and very fresh.My 7 month old son has a pretty large head and none of his infant hats fit him anymore. I sometimes have to roll the bottom up if it starts to fall over his eyes. This is usually when I haven't washed it in a week, which is just a sign it needs to be washed :) It washes and drys nicely, just don't put it in the dryer with velcro items (bibs) because they will get stuck to it. Clearly not the fault of the hat.It hasn't been cold enough to actually use it yet, but it is exactly what I was looking for for my son. Although my daughter keeps trying to steal it.It appears to be nice quality, but it's pretty big; as indicated above, I purchased this for my 6 month old grandson (he has a really big head and every other beanie I've purchased is too tight on him). I expected this one to be big, but his 8 year old brother liked it and since it fit him, I let him keep it!Even though I received the wrong color, I'm still giving 5 stars. The hat was really good quality, and very cute. The hat seems like it would fit 3-6 months more than a new baby. Really wish they had the color I wanted, would have loved to use it.
